Deep fried Indian bread to eat with Potato masala.

Recipe Ingredients for Poori

1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
3/4 cup (8 fl oz) Water
4 tbsp Vegetable Oil, Canola

Recipe Directions for Poori

  1. Mix flour and water to form dough

  2. Knead very well for 5 minutes.

  3. Rest the dough for 20 ,minutes.

  4. Knead again for 5 more minutes.

  5. Divide into 4 equal parts.

  6. Form each one into round tortilla shape.

  7. Heat oil 350 degrees in a deep frying vessel.

  8. Deep fry .

  9. It will puff on both sides . turn over and take it out after dripping the excess oil.

  10. Serves 4
