Tomato Sauce. Good basic recipe. May be frozen until needed.

Recipe Ingredients for Pomarola

29 oz organic diced tomatoes
1 large diced onion
1/3 cup olive oil
1 tsp salt
5 leaves fresh basil
1 pepper to taste

Recipe Directions for Pomarola

  1. Sauté onions in 2 tablespoons of the olive oil until tranparent

  2. Add the tomatoes and salt and cook over medium heat until thickened, about 20 minutes

  3. When desired thickness is achieved, add the basil, pepper and remaining olive oil
