0.16 liter water
2 g butter
2 g oil, sunflower
2 g salt
40 g corn grits, yellow, dry
1/2 cup whole milk
20 g sugar

Recipe Directions for Polenta s polnovrednim mlekom (0.5 cup) in sladkorjem (1 tbsp)

  1. Potrebno koli�ino vode zavremo, solimo, dodamo maslo ali olje in vanjo zakuhamo presejan koruzni zdrob. Na za�etku sproti me�amo s stepalno �ibo, da se ne naredijo grudice, ko pa se za�ne polenta gostiti, jo za�nemo me�ati z leseno kuhalnico -"polentarjem" in kuhamo 30 minut. Vmes jo ve�krat preme�amo, da postane polenta bolj rahla.

  2. Preden jo stresemo na leseno okroglo desko za polento, jo vsaj pet minut ne me�amo, da pri obra�anju la�je odstopi od posode. �e vrelo razre�emo na kocke, lahko z mokrim, malo dalj�im no�em ali sukancem. Sukanec potegnemo med polento in desko, od zunanje strani proti sebi. Nato desko zasukamo in rezanje ponovimo. Tako dobimo lepe, enakomerno razrezane kocke.
