Polenta Recipe

Easy replacement for pasta or on it's own. Also, great w/ greens and other vegetables.

Recipe Ingredients for Polenta

2 cup grits
8 cups water
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
2 pinch cracked black pepper

Recipe Directions for Polenta

  1. - bring water to boil

  2. - add grits slowly (use locally ground and/or roast corn grits)

  3. - reduce heat, but keep on simmer and stir frequently for 35-45 min

  4. - bring to desired consistency and then add cheese and cracked pepper
