0.5 cup dry Corn Grits-Polenta
12 oz Water
4 oz Chicken 33% Less Sodium Broth Rtsb
2 serving Kraft 2% Mexican Four Cheese Shredded (1/4cup)

Recipe Directions for Polenta - Baked & Cheesy

  2. Bring water and salt to a boil in a 3-quart heavy saucepan, then add polenta in a thin stream, whisking. Cook over moderate heat, whisking, 2 minutes. Reduce heat to low and cover pan, then cook at a bare simmer, stirring with a long-handled spoon for 1 minute after every 10 minutes of cooking, 45 minutes total. Remove from heat and whisk in butter until incorporated.

  3. Then in greased baking pan, evenly layer out the polenta, smoothing into the corners evenly.

  4. Place in a preheated 350 oven for 20-30 minutes, or until top and edges are crispy.

  5. Take out, let cool and then cut into desired shapes or add as a base to another recipe
