A vegetarian dish for breakfast/brunch. Note that I have mentioned "3 cups rice, cooked, beaten", only to get the calorie information right. In reality, you used 3 cups of poha, soaked and drained

Recipe Ingredients for Poha

3 cups rice, flakes
1 tbl oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 thai peppers
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tbl salt
1/2 cup peas
3/4 cup onions
3/4 cup carrots
3/4 cup tomatoes
1 tbl lemon juice

Recipe Directions for Poha

  1. 1. Heat oil

  2. 2. Add mustard, cumin, chillies

  3. 3. Add onions and fry

  4. 4. Add carrots, peas and tomatoes

  5. 5. Add tumeric, chillipowder, salt, sugar

  6. 6. Add soaked poha flakes

  7. 7. Add lemon juice
