1/4 cup dry Marsala
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 tablespoon honey
1 tart apple, peeled, cored and cut into bite size pieces

1/2 cup fresh blueberries or raspberries
4 oz Greek Non-Fat

Recipe Directions for Poached Orchard Fruit Compotes

  1. Strain the juice of the tangerines into a medium saucepan and add the Marsala. Stir in the cinnamon and nutmeg and bring to a simmer. Stir in the honey and the fruit. Simmer for about 6 minutes or until fruit is lightly poached yet still firm. Remove from heat and allow to mellow in juice.
