As a single vegan mom this breakfast is super fast and easy for me to throw together on my busy week mornings.

Recipe Ingredients for Poached Breakfast Pear

1 pear, small (approx 3 per lb) Pears
0.16 cup Joseph's Original Sugar Free Maple Syrup
2 tsp SPLENDA Brown Sugar Blend
1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
0.16 container Vanilla

Recipe Directions for Poached Breakfast Pear

  1. Peel the pears, slice them lenthwise and scoop out core.

  2. Put them in a microwave-safe casserole dish, drizzle them with the maple syrup and sprinkle them with cinnamon. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and/or lid.

  3. Cook on high power until they are tender, but not mushy, about 4 minutes.
