Recipe Ingredients for plum jam

8 cups chopped plums
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups water

Recipe Directions for plum jam

  1. dissolve sugar in water over low heat

  2. remove pits and dice plums, do not peel

  3. place in saucepan

  4. add syrup and 2 packets fruit pectin

  5. bring to a rolling boil over high heat stirring constantly. boil for 1 minute. turn off heat, skim foam and ladle into jars.
