Nearly fat free dessert. Can swap in almost any fruit.

Recipe Ingredients for Plum Crisp

5 fruit+2-1/8"+dia plums
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup applesauce
1/2 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cardamom

Recipe Directions for Plum Crisp

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Spray a pie plate with cooking spray.

  3. Chop the plums and place them in the pie plate.

  4. With a fork, mix together the remaining ingredients in a bowl.

  5. Press the topping onto the the plums in an even coat.

  6. Bake for 50 minutes. Turn the oven off and leave the crisp in the oven until it cools off.

  7. Serve with vanilla ice-cream (preferably homemade).
