Recipe Ingredients for Plain Pancakes

4 eggs
10 tablespoons butter
2 cups milk
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
8 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

Recipe Directions for Plain Pancakes

  1. Beat the eggs in a mixing bowl until well blended.

  2. Put the butter and milk in a sauce pan and heat until the butter has melted, set aside to cool.

  3. Pour the eggs into the butter and milk mixture.

  4. Put the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl and sitr with a fork until well mixed.

  5. Pour the cooled egg mixture into the flour mixture and stir only until the dry ingredients are moistened. Do not over mix.
