35 cal Beef Broth
3 cup Beans, Navy, Mature Seeds
1 tsp, crumbled Bay Leaf
3 medium (4-1/8" long) Onions, Spring Or Scallions
6 medium slices, cooked (raw product packed 20/lb) Pork, Cured, Bacon
8 cup (8 fl oz) Water

Recipe Directions for Plain navy bean soup with bacon

  1. Soak beans over night; drain.

  2. Add beans, broth, water, bay leaf, onion to a pot and simmer on medium heat. Fry bacon in a pan until crisp. Drain, break into small pieces and add to the pot.
