MEAT MIXTURE: Approx.2lbs Ground Meat (Veal,Beef & Pork mixture. 2 med. onions chopped (divided) Bread or Saltines soaked in milk 2 eggs 3 cloves garlic minced (divided) Paprika 1 Tbs or to taste Nutmeg 1/2 tsp Oregano 2 tsp. (divided) Parsley Salt & Pepper to taste SAUCE: 1 of the onions 2 garlic cloves 35oz can Italian Tomatoes 1 bay leaf Oregano Basil Salt & Pepper to taste

Recipe Ingredients for PJ's Stuffed Green Peppers

1 serving (Catelli) Italian Bistro Meatball
3 clove Garlic
35 oz Peeled Tomatoes
100 grams Egg, Whole
2 medium Green Bell Pepper
1 serving(15 g) Crackers Saltine Crackers Fat Free
3 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Nutmeg, Ground
1 tbsp Parsley, Dried
2 medium (2-1/2" dia)(110 g) Onions
2 tsp Oregano

Recipe Directions for PJ's Stuffed Green Peppers

  1. Meat Filling Mix:

  2. Combine 1 onion chopped fine, Saltines soaked in milk, 2 eggs, 1 clove garlic minced, Paprika, Nutmeg, 1/2 Oregano, 1/2Parsley, Slt.&Pepper. Stuff into cleaned out and topped Peppers.

  3. SAUCE:

  4. Saute 1 onion & 2 cloves garlic minced in sm. amt. Olive oil.

  5. Add Tomatoes, Bay leaf, Oregano, Basil, Pepper& slt. to taste. Bring to boil & simmer until ready to add to Crockpot with Peppers.

  6. Cook on low setting for 4 -5 hrs.
