12oz beef roast sliced or shredded 4Tbs butter 1/4 c Flour 1 tsp beef bullion base 12oz water 4 slices toasted bread

9 oz Beef, Loin, Bottom Sirloin Butt, Tri-tip Roast
4 tbsp Butter
1/4 cup Gold Medal Unbleached All Purpose Flour
1 tsp Beef Base
12 oz Water
4 serving Italian Bread

Recipe Directions for PJ's Hot Beef Sandwish

  1. Thinly slice or shred beef.

  2. Combine beef base and water; stir to dissolve.

  3. Make a roux with the butter & flour

  4. Brown it to a good nut-brown but not darker.

  5. Add all the water and stir smooth over med heat until bubbly.

  6. Add beef and stir until heated through.

  7. Serve over any bread toasted or plain.
