Pj's Fried Talapia Recipe

1 egg 6 Talapia fillets Flour 1/2 stick butter 1/2 cup or more Cannola oil to depth of 1/4 inch in pan. Backening seasoning ( I use Tony Chacherie's Special Herbal Blend- Spice N" Herbs)

Recipe Ingredients for PJ's Fried Talapia

24 oz Tilapia Fillets
1 large Egg, White
1/2 cup Gold Medal All Purpose Flour
1/2 stick Butter
4 tbsp Vegetable Oil, Canola
1 tsp Seasoning

Recipe Directions for PJ's Fried Talapia

  1. Thaw fish if frozen.

  2. Beat one egg.

  3. Add flour to plate or dish.

  4. Dip fish into egg & transfer to flour in flat dish. Pile flour on top and let sit to absorb.

  5. Melt butter in skillet with oil and bring to med. high temp.

  6. Place fillets into pan and sprinkle seasoning on top.

  7. Fry until lightly browned and flip to brown on opposite side.

  8. Drain on paper towels.

  9. Keep warm in oven if you like to keep crispy crusted fish.
