8 boneless/skinless chicken breast halves 1 head cabbage 4 stalks celery with leaves 3 med. onions 2 cups okra 4 carrots 1 lg can Tomatoes diced or whole cut up 64oz -8cups Fat Free Chicken Broth 1/2 tsp Ground black pepper 2 bay leaves (optional)

Recipe Ingredients for PJ's Chicken Vegetable Stew

4 breast, bone and skin removed Chicken, Breast, Meat Only
1 head Cabbage
4 stalks Celery
3 medium Onions
4 carrot Carrots
4 cup Petite Cut Diced Tomatoes
8 serving Kitchen Basics Original Chicken Cooking Stock
0.5 tsp Spices Ground Black Pepper
2 cup Okra
1 tsp, crumbled Bay Leaf

Recipe Directions for PJ's Chicken Vegetable Stew

  1. Bake chicken with desired spices until done. Dice and add to the following in a Lg. soup pot.

  2. Rough chop all veg.

  3. Add chicken broth-64oz total.

  4. Add can of diced tomatoes or

  5. whole tomatoes cut up (crushed tomatoes makes a saucier texture if you like that better).

  6. Sprinkle with pepper & add 2 bay leaves if you desire.

  7. Stew slowly at simmer for an hour or until vegetables are soft.

  8. Tastes better the next day when flavors meld.
