Recipe Directions for Pizza Wraps

  1. 1) Spray a pan with nonstick vegetable spray. Also set your oven to 300 degrees.

  2. 2) Lay down your mission sundried tomato & Basil wrap on the greased pan. I like to put water on the wrap where I want the crust to be. I don't know if this is useful to do or not. My crust came out crispy and yummy though doing it this way.

  3. 3. Put half the serving of Hunt's traditional spaghetti sauce in the center of the wrap. You should at least have two inches all around as your "crust".

  4. 4. Put on small diced tomatoes. I put half a medium tomato diced on mine. Add your pizza seasoning now so the salt in it will take some of that wet form the tomatoes away.

  5. 4. Add minced garlic. The kind I used is pre-minced and in extra virgin olive oil. I like garlic a lot, so put as much on as you want.

  6. 5. Now add your cheese. Only put one serving or less on there.

  7. 6. Tear off a chunk of red bell pepper. Mine was the size of 2 quarters. I just used my fingers to rip them apart and sprinkle on top of the cheese.

  8. 7. Now put a few baby spinach leaves on top. This is mainly to add more color to it so it pleases your eyes and well as your taste buds.

  9. 8. Put your pizza in the oven for 10 minutes. Check on it to make sure it isn't burning or anything.

  10. 9. When the cheese is melted you can turn off your oven and set it to a low broil. It only takes a minute for it to broil so that you get nice little crispy spots on the cheese. Doing this with supervision should not dry out your spinach and bell peppers.

  11. 10. When you are satisfied with how your pizza looks, take it out and eat it up!

  12. The secret to good pizza is definitely fresh ingredients. This was so delicious and not too bad on the calories.

  13. Next time I make this, I will use part skim or low fat mozzarella cheese and perhaps a wrap with a lot of fiber in it. Then I will add fresh sun dried tomatoes and basil to the pizza.

  14. I also added a tiny dab of coconut oil for it's health benefits. If you add anything for health benefits like that, you must make sure it meets the standards for it to be healthful. Example: Refined coconut oil is horrible for you. It has transfat in it! Organic, unrefined, virgin/ cold pressed coconut oil has numerous health benefits and NO transfat.
