Pizza Topping Pear, walnut, Gorgonzola

Recipe Ingredients for Pizza Topping Pear, walnut, Gorgonzola

1/4 cup (sargento's) 4 cheese reduced fat italian
1/4 cup gorgonzola cheese
2 T garlic, minced
1 pear, caramelized
1 onion, caramelized
1 T olive oil
2 T walnuts

Recipe Directions for Pizza Topping Pear, walnut, Gorgonzola

  1. Slice pear, brush with oil and place on a pan under broiler until caramelized, about 20 minutes.

  2. Slice onion and caramelize in a pan with light oil.

  3. Toss walnuts in Olive oil

  4. Lightly brush pizza shell with oil and spread garlic on it. spread Italian cheese followed by onions and pears. Sprinkle walnuts and gorgonzola cheese.

  5. Bake at 400 degrees until done.
