Sunday Night! Pizza Dough, Pizza Dough, Pizza Dough .... Big Hug I am a Pizza

Recipe Ingredients for Pizza

2 cups flour
2 tbsp shortening
2 tsp salt
2/3 cup water
2 tsp yeast
12 oz tomato sauce
1 tsp basil
1 tsp oregano
1 tbsp garlic
1 tbsp olive oil
8 oz mozzarella cheese

Recipe Directions for Pizza

  1. Dough:

  2. Water in microwave for 20 seconds.

  3. Add yeast and mix.

  4. Combine all crust ingredients.

  5. Knead and let rise for 1 1/2 hours.

  6. Roll out on to jelly roll pan and let sit in warm oven for 20 minutes - 1 1/2 hour.

  7. Spread sauce on dough and bake at 385 for 10 minutes.

  8. Add cheese and any other toppings and bake another 10 minutes
