Recipe Ingredients for Pizza Dough - Whole Wheat (mostly) ala Pam

1 pkg dry active yeast
1 cup flour, whole wheat
1/4 cup flour, white
1 tsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp sugar

Recipe Directions for Pizza Dough - Whole Wheat (mostly) ala Pam

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water (1/2 cup at 105 degrees) in a large bowl.

  2. Stir in half of the flour, oil, salt and sugar.

  3. Stir in enough of the remaining flour to make dough easy to handle.

  4. Turn dough onto lightly floured surface, knead 10 minutes of until smooth and elastic.

  5. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 20 minutes.

  6. Punch down the dough.

  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours but no longer than 48 hours - punch down dough as necessary.
