Makes two 12 inch pizzas or 4 reasonably-sized calzones

Recipe Ingredients for Pizza Dough

2 teaspoons active dry yeast
3/4 cup warm water
1 teaspoon turbinado sugar
2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon olive oil

Recipe Directions for Pizza Dough

  1. With flat beater mix sugar, yeast and water

  2. let stand about 5 minutes

  3. Stir in flour, oil and salt

  4. Switch to dough hook and knead for 5 minutes

  5. Let dough relax in oiled, covered bowl in fridge until ready to use
