Makes 24 servings

serving size is one slice - 1/4 of a small pizza (recipe makes 6 pizzas total)

Recipe Ingredients for Pizza Dough

3 cups flour
1 package yeast
1 cup water
1 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

Recipe Directions for Pizza Dough

  1. combine honey and yeast with 1/4 cup of warm water (105-115 degrees F)

  2. mix flour and salt with dough hook attachment. Add in the remaining 3/4 cup warm (not hot) water, yeast mixture, and 1 tablespoon of oil. Mix until dough forms into a ball ~5 minutes.

  3. Turn ball out onto surface, if too sticky add more flour. Knead a few times until the dough is elastic. Shape into a ball.

  4. Pour 1 tablespoon of oil into a bowl; place the dough ball into the bowl, turn over to coat in oil. Cover with a damp towel and let rest for an hour and a half.

  5. Separate the dough into 6 portions, and form each into a ball. Let rest again (under a damp towel) for another hour.

  6. Pat ball into a circle about 1/4 inch thick. Top with toppings and bake in a preheated 400 degree oven for about 12 minutes or until done.
