Makes 8 servings



Whole wheat. Makes one fairly thin round medium to large crust, 8 slices.

Recipe Ingredients for Pizza Dough

2 tsp yeast
1/2 cup warm water
1 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
1 T. olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp dried italian seasoning

Recipe Directions for Pizza Dough

  1. Dissolve yeast in water, then mix with oil and salt and italian seasoning. Add flour, mix well, and knead 5-10 times (not minutes, times!) Allow to rest at least 5 minutes. Roll out to desired size. Bake at about 375 for about 10-15 minutes, until the crust starts to turn golden and slightly crispy on the edges (or to desired doneness.)

  2. Top with sauce, cheese and desired toppings (not included in nutrition info). Bake until cheese melts.
