Makes 3 dough balls - each ball of dough serves 3.

Recipe Ingredients for Pizza dough

4 cups bread flour
2 1/4 teaspoons yeast
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 3/4 cups water, warmed
1/4 cup bread flour, for kneading

Recipe Directions for Pizza dough

  1. mix together dry ingredients in large bowl.

  2. Add warmed water and oil and stir until rough ball forms.

  3. Knead with mixer for 10 minutes (or by hand for 10 to 15 minutes), using 1/4 cup extra flour while kneading. Transfer dough to a lightly oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap and let rise until doubled in size (1 to 1 1/2 hours).
