Makes 8 servings



Easy pizza dough that is 50% whole wheat.

Recipe Ingredients for Pizza Dough

1 tbs honey
1 tbs olive oil
1/4 oz dry yeast
1 cup water
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Pizza Dough

  1. In a bowl place luke-warm water, honey and olive oil and stir. Add dry yeast packet and let yeast proof for 5 minutes. Mix in whole wheat and all purpose flour a quarter of a cup at a time. With last quarter cup of flour sprinkle in salt and mix. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and let sit in a warm place for 30 minutes until dough doubles in volume.

  2. To make pizza, divide dough into two balls. Roll out on a floured surface. Add toppings as desired for a pizza. Bake on a pizza stone or a cookie sheet in a 425 degree oven for 10-15 minutes depending on how long it takes for the crust to get golden.
