This is a simple bread dough that we use for 12 inch pizzas.

Recipe Ingredients for Pizza Dough

2 cups water
1 tbsp. yeast (1 package)
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
7 cups flour

Recipe Directions for Pizza Dough

  1. Warm 1 Cup of water, add oil, salt, and sugar.

  2. Proof the yeast.

  3. Add 1 Cup of cold water to the warm water mix.

  4. Add the yeast to the mix.

  5. Add enough flour to make a stiff dough, knead until elastic.

  6. Makes 4 - 12 inch pizzas, divide dough and freeze or let rest 20 minutes, put in pizza pan and add toppings

  7. bake at 400 for 15 mins.

  8. serving size = 1 slice of a pizza that has been cut into 12 wedges.
