Main dish casserole with pizza-like flavor

Recipe Ingredients for Pizza Casserole

2 cups macaroni, boiled and drained
4 oz pepperoni, sliced
2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 pound ground beef
1 1/2 cups water
12 oz tomato paste
1 small onion, diced
4 ounces black olives, sliced
1 tbsp beef bouillon
1 tbsp Italian Seasoning
1 tsp Garlic Salt

Recipe Directions for Pizza Casserole

Boil macaroni, drain and set aside. Brown ground beef, drain fat and and add onion to beef and continue to cook until onions are translucent. Add tomato paste, water, olives, bouillon, and spices. Bring to a boil and let simmer for a couple of minutes. In a large casserole dish begin layering macaroni, sauce mixture, pepperoni, and cheese. I use about 1/3 of each ingredient and alternate until gone. Bake covered in 350 degree oven for 40 minutes. Cook an additional 10 minutes uncovered to brown cheese on top.
