This family casserole was something my mom made for my brother and me when we were little and we both loved it. Now I make it for my sons. Sarah Briscoe, Watertown, WI

Recipe Ingredients for Pizza Casserole

2 cups egg noodles
1 lb ground turkey
1/3 cup chopped onion
1/3 cup water
1 clove garlic
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp salt
1 can condensed tomato soup
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Recipe Directions for Pizza Casserole

  1. Heat oven to 350

  2. Cook noodles following package directions. Drain and reserve.

  3. Meanwhile, heat beef or turkey on medium-high in a nonstick skillet. Add onion and garlic. Cook until meat is no longer pink. Drain off excess liquid. Stir in oregano, salt, soup 1/3 cup water and noodles.

  4. Take off the heat and add 1/2 of the cheese. Spoon into 11x7 baking dish and sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top. Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes until bubbly.

  5. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
