Cripsy pita chips baked in your oven for a quick snack.

Recipe Ingredients for Pita Chips

1 pita, large (6-1/2" dia) Bread, Pita, Whole-wheat
1 serving Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 clove Garlic
1 serving Creole Seasoning

Recipe Directions for Pita Chips

  1. Preheat Ove: to 400C

  2. Tare up pita chips into chip sizes on ungreased baking sheet. Larger chips are better.

  3. Brush with olive oil and minced garlic.

  4. Sprinkle with favourite seasoning. I like Creole or a garlic herb blend.

  5. Place in over for 5-10 minutes. Keep an eye on them, they will brown too much if left for too long.

  6. Remove from oven. Cool and serve!

  7. Works with stale pita's as well. Great way to use stale pita bread.

  8. Chips will store for a few days in a air tight container depending on toppings. Goes great with hummus, salsa, guac and other fresh dips.

  9. Recipe is set as 1 pita/person
