Recipe Ingredients for pita bread

1 1/8 cup warm water
3 cups white whole wheat flour
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 1/2 tsps sugar, granulated
1 1/2 tsps yeast, bakers, active dry

Recipe Directions for pita bread

  1. place all ingredient in bread mach.

  2. turn finished dough out onto a lightly floured surface and into balls (1-1 1/4"- about 12)

  3. roll to desire thickness and cover with towel and let rise

  4. preheat oven to 500F.

  5. place 2-3 pitas on baking sheet or on the rack

  6. bake 4-5 min
