Recipe Ingredients for Pioneer Muffins

3 eggs
1/3 cup brown sugar
2/3 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup molasses
2 cups natural bran
1/2 cup wheat germ
1 cup grated carrots
1 cup apple sauce
1 1/2 cups water
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. powdered milk
1/2 cup raisins
2 tsp. cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Pioneer Muffins

  1. In large bowl beat eggs. Add sugar, oil, molasses, bran carrot, apple sauce and water. stir well.

  2. In a middle bowl, mix whole wheat flour, wheat germ, soda, baking powder, salt, powered milk and raisins.

  3. Add dry ingredients all at once to egg mixture stirring only until moistened.

  4. Bake 375 for 20-25 min.
