Recipe Ingredients for pinto beans

2 tbsp olive oil
2 1/2 cups pinto beans
7 oz jalapenos
1 medium onion
3 cloves garlic
8 cups water

Recipe Directions for pinto beans

  1. saute garlic in olive oil, add onion and cook until translucent

  2. add jalapenos and roast peppers

  3. add cumin, pepper and salt

  4. add beans and water, and bring to boil

  5. cover, and let simmer on low for six hours
