Slow cooked pintos with two brats for seasoning (optional), light salt and fresh seasoning like sage.

Recipe Ingredients for Pinto Beans Light Salt

1/2 pound (227.5 g) Beans Pinto
2 serving Stadium Style Brats
15 serving Lite Mixture Salt
5 g fresh sage
8 cups water

Recipe Directions for Pinto Beans Light Salt

I used 1/2 pound (1/2 bag) beans. Rinse and soak beans according to package directions. Put in slow cooker and cover with water. Add brats and light salt. I did about 7 dashes of light salt at first and then some more at the end. Top with herbs. Slow cook on low until tender. You can remove the brats for fewer calories or chop them into pieces and leave them in.
