Recipe Ingredients for Pinto Beans With Hocks

1 pound dried pinto beans
1 large onion, chopped
4 stalks celery, chopped
1 small bell pepper, chopped
2 oz Hocks
1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper, ground

Recipe Directions for Pinto Beans With Hocks

Wash, sort and soak beans overnight. Rinse. Put beans, vegetables, red pepper flakes and hocks in a large pot. Cover with water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until beans are tender. Season with salt and pepper.
