10 CUPS WATER 1 T BACON GREASE 176 G CARROTS 148 G ONIONS 119 CELERY 61 G COOKED BACON 1 1B PINTO BEANS 2 t SALT 1 3/4 t pepper 2 t garlic powder 1/2 t marjoram 1/2 t thyme simmer 4 hours and smash some when done.

61 grams Pork, Cured, Bacon
2 pat (1" sq, 1/3" high) Butter
176 grams Carrots
148 grams Onions
120 grams Celery
16 oz Beans Pinto
2 tsp Salt, Table
1 tsp Pepper, Black
0.75 tsp Pepper, Black
2 tsp Garlic Powder
0.5 tsp Marjoram, Dried
0.5 tsp, leaves Thyme, Dried
10 cup (8 fl oz) Water

Recipe Directions for PINTO BEAN SOUP

soak beans over night rinse and cook with 10 cups of water for 2 hourss > while this is cooking in another pan cook bacon in separate pan, then another pan cook veg with bacon grease 1 T of this grease add bacon and cook 10 min no 7 then add salt and seasonings cook 1 min then beans and water and siimmer 2 more hours smash before serving.
