Recipe Ingredients for Pinto Bean Burgers

15 1/2 oz Pinto Beans
0.67 cup, chopped or diced Onions
1/4 cup dry Quick Quaker Oats
1/4 cup Egg Substitute, Liquid
1 1/2 tsp Chili Powder
1 1/2 tsp Seasoning Blend

Recipe Directions for Pinto Bean Burgers

Drain Pinto Beans and rinse thoroughly. Place all ingredients into food processor and pulse to mix (mixture should be a little rough, but almost paste like). Allow mixture to sit for a few minutes. Preheat oven or toaster oven to 350 degrees. With wet hands, form 4 patties and place them on a parchment lined baking sheet. Allow them to rest for a few minutes. Place baking sheet into oven and bake for 20 minutes, flipping the burgers after 10 minutes. Both sides should have a light golden brown look to them. Note: You can make this recipe Vegan by eliminating the egg substitute, or replacing it with a suitable vegan egg replacer.
