Recipe Ingredients for Pinhead oats

1/2 cup steel cut oats
1/4 cup buttermilk
2 ounces dry apricots, diced
1 1/2 cups water
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon butter

Recipe Directions for Pinhead oats

  1. toast oats in melted butter until fragrent, about 3 minutes

  2. add water and apricots, cook until oats are tender about 20 minutes.

  3. add cinnamon and buttermilk

  4. serve immediately
