Recipe Ingredients for Pineapple Upside Down Cakes

20 oz. Crushed In Its Own Juice Pineapple
1/3 cup butter
2/3 cup brown sugar
60 g Maraschino Cherries
1 package+18.50+oz yellow cake mix
3 eggs
1 1/3 cup pineapple juice
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 oz+20+halves pecans

Recipe Directions for Pineapple Upside Down Cakes

  1. Drain pineapple and save juice. Melt butter and mix with brown sugar. Spray tins and put 1/2 tablespoon butter & sugar mixture in bottom. Place 1 tablespoon pineapple, cherry half and 2 pecan halves in bottom.

  2. Mix cake mix with eggs, oil and pineapple juice. Beat on medium for 2 minutes. Use red scoop to even place batter over pineapple. Bake at 350 for 20- 25 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes and invert onto pan.
