Recipe Ingredients for Pineapple upside down cake

16 ounces pineapple rings
1 stick butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 package yellow cake mix
3 1/2 ounces vanilla pudding mix
4 eggs
1 cup water
1/2 cup apple sauce

Recipe Directions for Pineapple upside down cake

  1. Preheat oven to 350

  2. Topping: melt butter in an oven proof skillet or pot. When its melted, turn off heat, add brown sugar and cover bottom of pan. Arrange pineapple.

  3. Combine cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, water, and applesauce.

  4. Pour batter over fruit

  5. Bake 1 hour
