Simple pineapple-upside down cake.

Recipe Ingredients for Pineapple Upside-down Cake

1 package yellow cake mix
2 eggs
1/4 cup pineapple juice
3/4 cups water
1/3 cup vegetable oil
2 tbsp butter, melted
1/4 cup brown sugar
15 oz pineapple, crushed and drained

Recipe Directions for Pineapple Upside-down Cake

  1. Prepare cake according to package direction replacing the water for an equal amount of pineapple juice.

  2. Spread the butter on the bottom of the pan and sprinkle with brown sugar. mix the drained pineapple into the brown sugar and spread evenly.

  3. Bake according to the cake package for the pan being used.

  4. Allow to cool for 10 minutes and invert onto a plate.
