Recipe Ingredients for Pineapple sorbet

1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup water
20 ounce crushed pineapple
2 cups orange juice
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon grated orange zest

Recipe Directions for Pineapple sorbet

  1. In medium saucepan, bring water and sugar to a simmer over medium-high heat until sugar is dissolved.

  2. Set aside.

  3. In a food processor, combine the pineapple, citrus juices and orange zest and process until smooth.

  4. Taste for sweetness and add sugar-water mixture as needed.

  5. Transfer mixture to a freezable container.

  6. Freeze until firm, about 4 hours.
