Recipe Ingredients for Pineapple Salsa

15 oz pineapple, canned, sliced rings
1 red onion, med, peeled and cut into 1/2" slices
1 jalapeno pepper
2 tbsp basil, chopped
2 tsp soy sauce
2 tbsp dark brown sugar
4 tbsp orange juice

Recipe Directions for Pineapple Salsa

  1. grill pineapple, onion and jalapeno over med heat 4 min each side or until onion is tender.

  2. cool after done and chop all ingredients, making sure to de-seed jalapeno.

  3. transfer to bowl

  4. mix in basil, soy sauce, brown sugar and orange juice, salt and pepper to taste.

  5. refridgerate about 30 min.
