For the 3 Tbs sugar (the last ingredient) I really used 1/2 cup splenda added with the dry ingredients

Recipe Ingredients for Pineapple breakfast cake (or dessert)

1 cup oats
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
3 tbs water
1 tbs vinegar
1 cup crushed pineapple
1/3 cup apple sauce
2 tsp egg
3 tbs brown sugar
2 tbs coconut
3 tbs sugar

Recipe Directions for Pineapple breakfast cake (or dessert)

  1. Combine all dry ingredients (put oats in the blender till smooth first)

  2. add wet ingredients

  3. mix lightly and put in glass baking dish

  4. sprinkle top with browns sugar and coconut

  5. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes
