Another modification of the Pillsbury stromboli recipe. This is a "white pizza" style stromboli that uses no pizza sauce. Instead it includes garlic, ricotta and spinach. This recipe is sized for individual portions so that each family member can customize their stromboli. (Especially for those that hate mushrooms).

Recipe Ingredients for Pillsbury Pizza Crust- White Stromboli

1/4 cup fat free ricotta cheese
1/8 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
97 1/2 grams Pillsbury pizza crust
65 grams canned mushrooms
1/2 cup frozen spinach
1 clove minced garlic (or to taste)

Recipe Directions for Pillsbury Pizza Crust- White Stromboli

  1. 1. Unroll dough; place on sprayed cookie sheet. Starting at center, press out dough with hands to form 12x8-inch rectangle.

  2. *Cut dough into 4 parts. (making smaller 3 x 8 rectangles

  3. 2. Spread sauce over dough to within 1/2 inches on all sides. Place toppings down the center, forming 3-inch-wide strip . Top with cheese and Italian seasoning. Fold long sides of dough over filling; press edges to seal.

  4. 3. Bake at 400F. for 15 to 20 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
