A healthier, although still evil, alternative to Bacon Egg Biscuits.

Recipe Ingredients for Pillsbury Bacon Egg Beater Biscuits

3 biscuits Biscuits Buttermilk
86 3/10 grams Egg Beaters
0.5 serving Real Bacon Bits

Recipe Directions for Pillsbury Bacon Egg Beater Biscuits

  1. Pillsbury Buttermilk Biscuits (Can)

  2. 3/8 Cup Egg Beaters

  3. 1/2 Tbsp Hormel Real Bacon Bits

  4. 3 Ramekin baking dishes

  5. Makes 3 Bacon Egg Biscuits

  6. Bake biscuits per Pillsbury instructions. Pour 1/8 cup egg beaters into each small Ramekin dish (the size of a biscuit) for a total of three dishes (one for each biscuit). Stir in 1/2 tsp real bacon bits into each dish. Microwave at 50% power for 1:11 (1100 Watt Microwave; adjust time as needed), check and gently stir (you don't want to break up the eggs), and microwave at 50% power for another 30 seconds or so (watch for "boil over" and adjust as needed for next time... be prepared to hit Cancel on your microwave).

  7. When finished, split three biscuits apart and plop the circular disk of bacon egg patty goodness into the biscuit. No need to add salt (there's plenty of sodium in the biscuits and bacon already), but you may want to add a dash of pepper to the egg for extra kick.
