Recipe Ingredients for Pigeon Peas Soup

10 oz Chicken
12 serving Nature Pigeon Peas
1 serving japanese sweet potato
1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
1 stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" long) Celery
0.5 large (7-1/4" to 8-1/2" long) Carrots
1 medium (2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia.) Potatoes, Boiled
2 tbsp Olive Oil
1 serving Hot Peppers
4 oz Chives
3 clove Garlic
0.5 head, small (about 4-1/2" dia) Cabbage
4 dash Salt, Table
0.75 tbsp Butter
3 Serving Chicken

Recipe Directions for Pigeon Peas Soup

Soak beans for a few hours, about 5. Then boil until tender. Set beans aside. Chop chicken breast and into pieces. Blend peppers, garlic and chive to season chicken pieces. Sautee onion and celery in olive oil until onion is soft then add seasoned chicken and cover until chicken springs water stiring occasionally to prevent sticking. Add potatoes then cover for a few minutes, stirring occasionall to prevent sticking. Add all other ingredients and let boil until potatoes and chicken are thouroghly doneincluding boiled peas.
