This is an old fashioned recipe for flaky pie crust. Not healthy fare.

Recipe Ingredients for Pie Crust

1.51 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
0.5 cup Butter
8 serving Pure Canola Oil
2 large Egg, White
1 tbsp Vinegar, Cider
0.25 tsp Salt, Table

Recipe Directions for Pie Crust

  1. Blend flour and salt. Cut in shortening and butter.

  2. Mix egg whites, water, and vinegar in a small bowl, then dump into the flour and fat mixture.

  3. Blend with a fork until a ball forms.
