A healthier choice type of Pide-an Anatolian Pizza. The over filling could be enriched with some other ingredients but the dough layer must be very thin and should be served fresh parsley to roll with and freshly sliced lemon to sauce. Pide can be served as starter or main dish. You may multiply the amounts of ingredients. These amounts are only for one starter.

Recipe Ingredients for Pide for Vegetarians from Olga's Healthy Choice

8 g whole wheat flour
3 g spelt flour
3 g unbleached flour
3 g Yogurt, Plain, Skim Milk, 13 Grams Protein Per 8 Ounce
3 g water
1 g baking powder
1 pinch sea salt
5 g cream cheese
10 raw spinach

Recipe Directions for Pide for Vegetarians from Olga's Healthy Choice

  1. Prepare soft dough mixing flours, yogurt, water, baking powder and salt. Put the dough in a bowl and cover with plastic bag or kitchen cloth. Let it rest for two-three hours under cover.

  2. Then, prepare a round flat douch layer with roll. Spread one layer of cheese, then place fresh spinach leaves and on top of it spread or grind some unslated cheese.

  3. Bake pre-heated oven at 250o C (electrical turbo) for about 3-4 minutes.

  4. Bon appetite!
