ground beef and pork with tomato puree good for tostadas and tortas

Recipe Ingredients for Picadillo

3 lbs. ground beef, extra lean
1/4 cup canola oil
1/2 large onion
3 cloves of garlic
6 medium tomatoes
3 ounces chipotle peppers
1/3 cup bouillon

Recipe Directions for Picadillo

  1. heat the oil and when hot add onion

  2. when onions are browning add the 3 lbs of ground meat and mix it up

  3. add the rest of the onion, the garlic, the tomatoes, and the chipotle peppers in blender and puree them

  4. add them to the meat then add bouillon

  5. cook until meat is will done and enjoy.
