Meat filling. For tortillas, tacos, whatever.

Recipe Ingredients for Picadillo

2 T. vegetable oil
1 small onion
2 cloves garlic
1 lb. ground beef
15 oz diced canned tomatoes
1 t. cinnamon
2 T. vinegar
2 T. brown sugar
1/2 t. cumin
1/4 t. cloves
1/2 t. salt
1/4 c. slivered almonds
1/4 c. raisins

Recipe Directions for Picadillo

  1. Soften onion and garlic in oil. Remove from pan.

  2. Brown meat. Add rest of ingredients except almonds and raisins. Put onions back. Simmer 30 minutes 'til no juice left. Add raisins and almonds. Serve.
